Saturday night's alright

Well, it's Saturday night, I guess when your retired every night it Saturday night lol. I'm still sick, but thought I would see what was going on in the computer world. I belong to several poker leagues and poker forums. They keep me busy most of the time during the week anyway. They supply more freerolls and league games than I can handle. I like playing in that environment though, because the players, for the most part, are of a higher caliber. (Water always seeks the lowest level). Playing with better players seems to improve my game; and if your not improving?, what's it all for? I've read several books on poker and plan on reading more, but there is no substitute for experience. Well, I guess I'm done for now, gotta go back to bed. Oh, and one thing on being sick when you're retired, you don't have to do any make-up work, things seem to just languish in time, lol.

"So many freerolls...so little time"

It's December 30th, 2006, one day before New Year's Eve. Not much going on here today, had a cold for a couple of days and not felt like doing much. There was a new depositer's freeroll today at Poker.com, I decided to play, since they only last for 7 days after you make your first deposit. I came in 4th place, won $40. Not bad for a sick day. Played in a qualifier on Tony G and came in 2nd, not so good, had to come in first to win the ticket. Oh well, tomorrow's another day. Retirement's not what they make it out to be ya know. If you have a lot of money and good health it's a lot better I suppose lol. Well more on life and my sage outlook later, when I'm feeling better. Good nite. Jewelster.
